SUPPORTING A LOCAL BRIDE IN NEED

`
This is my very first post to my new blog. Sadly, it is not a completely happy post.

Many of you have probably heard about the large condo fire that devastated the residents of Indian Village Condos in Grand Rapids. The entire top floor of the building was destroyed to complete loss. More info click here.

One of those 3rd floor condos is owned by Erin and Rob, a couple (still) planning to be married June 7, 2008. Their condo is a total loss and, although the building is insured, the contents were not. They have lost almost everything they own! This loss included a jar containing over $1,000.00 that they were saving to pay their wedding vendors. Erin and Rob were not home at the time the blaze started so there was no opportunity for them to grab any of their belongings. Thankfully, they have family nearby whom they are staying with until they are back on their feet. Also, the wedding gown was not at their condo either!

If you have any wedding related items, services, or money you would like to donate to Erin & Rob, please email me through my website and I will pass your information along to the couple.

Their wedding is a beach wedding in Grand Haven with the reception taking place outdoors in a Grand Rapids location. The colors are bright green, teal, and white.

So far the dress, invitations, programs, guest book, calligraphy, and favors have been taken care of. The couple is still in need of the following... limo services, flowers for the bridal party, decorations for the wedding and reception, linens, rehearsal dinner accomodations, and other assorted items.
