I was reading the Blog updates from Jenn Buck of Graceful Expressions Calligraphy, the other day. Her posting about the song that inspired her unborn baby's nickname (baby Buckaroo) inspired me to make her (and daddy and baby) a cute gift. The following are posters I have made in the past... These prints are also cute as the cover of birth announcements or thank you cards. Click on the pictures to see them larger.
This 16" x 20" poster hangs framed in the bedroom of my youngest two daughters (they share a room).
This song reminds my husband, Adam, of our girls and it chokes him up when he hears it. This will most likely be the song they use for the father/daughter dance at their weddings.

Look close and in the blue letters it spells Kate & Kara. The names stand out more against the blue walls in their bedroom.
This one I made for my youngest niece, Sophia. This is the prayer my sis-in-law, Heather, does with the girls every night.
This one I did for my niece, Isabella. These are the colors in her bedroom and she is preschool age so the alphabet was very appropriate.
One more for a client, "Brianna". This one is done in an art-deco style that matched the baby's room.
Oh, Sondra these are so adorable. I had tears in my eyes when you sent it to me yesterday. I cannot wait to frame it and hang it in the nursery. They are all so beautiful and each have special meaning... so unique!
ReplyDeletePS - We heard the heartbeat this morning!
